Job Description:

The Coordinator of Administrative Services will coordinate the administrative support functions of the
Develop Leaders mission priority. This Coordinator will advance the ministry strategies and initiatives by
providing professional, responsive, and timely project management support to ministry efforts. This
position works proactively with the Develop Leaders team to find creative pathways for serving the
ministerial community in an emerging ministry and helps with the engagement of ministry partners by
cultivating and nurturing relationships.

Essential Functions

  • Engages in a professional, hospitable, and courteous manner in electronic, phone and in?person communication.
  • Prioritizes and manages multiple tasks with competing timelines, as requested by Develop Leaders staff.
  • In collaboration with DL team members and the Communications team, engage in marketing and communication efforts to inform the development and process of marketing materials (brochures, web listings, etc.) and manage web posting/announcements.
  • Process inquiries from constituency; respond and/or direct to the appropriate person according to need.
  • Assist with donor stewardship and engagement in a manner that donor relations and contributions are enhanced.
  • Provide support for Biblical Gender Equality Commission, as needed.
  • Provides hospitality and coordinates logistics for area’s engagements (meetings, trainings, retreats, etc.). Coordinate schedule and manage meeting logistics.
  • Makes travel arrangements (flight, lodging, etc.) and manages event registration for staff and in accordance to travel policies.
  • Apply best practices to develop, organize and maintain shared electronic and paper files; update and create additional dossiers, as needed.
  • Manages and maintains databases and the corresponding data/information as utilized by Develop Leaders.
  • Proofreads content for various publications and materials; edit copy for content and grammar as assigned.
  • Manage and maintain first?time ministry license application process.
  • Ensures team’s materials and office supplies are maintained accordingly.
  • Track ministry’s revenue and expense activity and Monitor mission priority’s budget. Process check requests for vendors or reimbursements for constituents accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and compile materials for board meetings and credentialing interviews as requested and needed, insuring that Board members and Advisory members receive materials in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Ministry Service and/or Executive Minister of Ordered Ministry and Develop Leaders.


Experience and Skills:

Education and Experience
Required: Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two?year college or technical school; two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Highly preferred: Experience in a ministry setting and in supporting multiple staff.


  • Proficiency of Microsoft and Windows applications, databases development and management, and web technologies.
  • Excels in attention to detail with high level of accuracy in the preparation of documents, marketing/communication material, reports, and correspondence.
  • Effectively and efficiently communicate with public in both oral and written form.
  • Ability to operate with discretion and confidentiality at times.
  • Excels in attention to detail and completes projects with high level of accuracy.
  • Works well under pressure and is able to accomplish multiple tasks, with conflicting priorities and timelines. Ability to track and report progress on a wide range of tasks, simultaneously.
  • Ability to respond to and deal with a range of ad hoc queries/requests.
  • Maintains flexibility in approach and adjusts actions when appropriate.
  • Excellent people skills; manage diversity of schedules, backgrounds, formats, contexts, etc.
  • Self?starter, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Uses critical thinking skills, applying logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to address challenges.

Environment Conditions
Able to work well in professional office setting, but occasionally works in remote locales. Occasional domestic and international travel, as requested. Must be versatile and able to work for prolong segments sitting or standing. Must engage frequently with office tools and equipment, such as: computer, copier, phone, web?conferencing equipment, cell communication, printers, etc. Must be able to occasionally lift or move items, less than 35lbs.; and using machinery to move boxes and crates (Pallets, dolly etc.) Occasionally, pack and unpack, move and lift boxes that contain event materials.
